P1 - Power Pro 300 -MP

The 300MP and the H110/W296 are made in the same powder plant. They are not the same burn rate. 300MP is somewhat slower.
So your exercise is to determine what powder you use or is recommended for the 32 Miller Short and determine how 300-MP compares between H110 and W296 respective to burn rate percentage...
(You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)
H110 is #64 (43.3%)
W296 is #67 (44.4%)
Start low on the 300-MP charge and work your way up

I have used it in my Miller short in a high wall with 208 and 217 gr bullets.  I haven’t found the ‘sweet’ spot yet but have tried 12 to 12.4 gr.   At 12.4 the cases were harder to eject but I don’t have that issue with the converted 357 MAX cases like I had with the 357 mag ones. Knowing who chambered this rifle it could be a bit sloppy.

Just to clarify. The case sticking occurred after several firings breach seating with the same case.  Took a good rap on the high wall lever to eject. No other signs of excessive pressure.

Thanks Jack. I tried 10.5 gr tonight but got too dark to trip the Chony. Same weight bullets. I'll push it up next time out.

I think Enforcer will work better. 300MP in my 38-55 did outstanding, mag primer, stiff load. Lil gun works well in 32 RKS, but Enforcer seems better in the shorter 32 Miller S. case. Maybe try it, I can post some targets later, just to busy working. thanks, Pete

I would totally agree with Pete and well worth the try. 300MP tends to work better with the over capacity cases based on my own long term personal experiences.

I agree, 300-MP is closer to H110 which I tested with no good results. I just am testing some different things before the snow flies. Steel may be another one. In the end I will rechamber to 32 RKS though.

Pete,

What is your 32 Miller Lil Gun load?  I have a can of that I have only tried a couple of times in my 32-40. Worth trying in the Miller once my knee replacement lets me back to the range

Jack...32 MS-water cap. 21.5
32 RKS.........................25.5
32 Ideal........................30.0
32 Ideal Everlasting.......28.0
13.0(Max) gr Lil gun in 32 Ideal regular case
11.0 for everlasting and RKS ( still fine tuning)
Thats it for now. There in the Ball Park for my guns. Just did not get in the load development and fine tuning  this year with all the fires we had and choking on smoke! and I work to much......
Enforcer works better in Miller, but I'l like to take a day and really test them both!

Thanks

My Miller is a chopped off RKS Barrel on a High Wall that Chuck Bordman rechambered at least twice
I bought it for the action but worth seeing if it will shoot!
