lubing tiny bullets

I have recently been playing with LITTLE ctgs, e.g., 25RF, and am finding that lubing the tiny bullets is kind of a PITA.   So far, I've been using Liquid Alox, which is not too hard to do, but wonder if my traditional lubes would be better.  I don't plan to shoot these several guns a lot, so don't like to take the time to make dies for the DELL lube pump, or the STAR. I have contemplated dipping them into melted lube, and then using a classic "Kake Kutter" to pare off the excess lube. What experience do others have with these little fellows?

For my 22 LR bullets, I melt paraffin in a container with graphite. Believe that is what commercial 22 bullets are lubed with.  Shooting the 22's charged with 4.gr of Swiss Null-B, the reloads are accurate and no leading

I use my old Lyman lubrisizer for lubing .22 and .25 bullets. Mix up my own lube and use dies that don't size the bullet, just lube it.

I pan lube 25s.  I have never found that a cutter works as well as pushing the out of the hardened block.  Excitement a little for timing.  Usually 30 minutes to an hour worms best.  Use a block or make a tool for the pointy ones.  It will be easier on your thumb.

Thanks, all, for your suggestions.   I guess I will go ahead and make a die and pusher set and use the STAR luber.   Altho this means first making a TINY boring bar.

I use both a Lyman 450 and a RCBS Lubersizer for lubing 85 or 122 grain 25 caliber bullets with Alberta Schuetzen Lube.

Works quite well.

Does not require cleaning of the bullets or problems handling with arthritic hands.

C'mon, Chris. Go ahead and train the "loading gnome" you keep under your bench. He'll be happy to get some additional duties.  Wink

For pan lubing bullets of all sizes and pointy or not,
I pick up the cake with the bullets and turn it upside down.
as in bullet tips down.
Then, with the thumb on the base of a given bullet in the cake, I press the bullet tip down against the top near the edge of a 3/4" board on the bench and the bullet comes loose gently towards my thumb. Then next bullet in line, etc.
I press loose a row of bullets from the cake, then remove them and place in appropriate box. Then, next row, etc. Even keep them in order as cast.

I was about to do that when I found a .258 Lee push through I had.  (no longer made apparently)  I can loan you a few SMALL boring bars as soon as I finish opening up two moulds.
