If I remember my history correctly, Hall rifles/smoothbores were issued and used in the Seminole war in Florida.  An occasional one made it to the Texas Revolution in 1835-36.

More than 15 years ago, in a very high end western artifact just off the plaza in Santa Fe, I saw what appeared to be a partial case of Halls (at least 4, IIRC),  probably the converted percussion models, but they looked to me to have longer than carbine-length barrels.  The price tag had 5 figures, nice round numbers.

Before that, the only Hall I had ever seen was in the home of a rancher with inherited wealth.  It served as the pull to open and close the expensive drapes that flanked a big picture window.  IIRC, the other pull was a Henry.
