Yet another Martini

I just purchased this German martini style rifle and need a little help with the barrel markings.

The rifle is marked on the barrel A. Korinski and Erlanger in gold.  A little research shows that Anton Ferdinand Korinski had a sporting goods store in Erlanger, Bavaria between 1908 and 1920.  Some of the sources that I have seen say the he was not a gunsmith but purchased his guns from others and had his name put on them.  (Kind of like Sears I guess.)

I'll try and attach an image or two but the markings are; I,H (?) 25 4 (?) (in line with the bore) 555 (which seems to be the assembly/serial number, also on the block, forearm, etc.) C (?) E and U with crowns (for proof approved) G with a crown (for rifled barrel) and 172/28 (which is the gauge size and I think stands for 8mm and probably 8.15 x 46R.  The previous owner of +30 years shot it as an 8.15 x 46R with no problems anyhow.  I have not cast the chamber or slugged the bore yet.

The rifle, including the sights appear to be "un-messed with" with an excellent bore.  Both the front and rear sights are windage adjustable which seems a little strange but not uncommon according to some of the things I have read.

Anyone have an idea as to the maker?

"Modify" worked just fine Joe.

I combined the two posts using Joe's tutelage on the pictures.

I have one much like yours, mine is a very plain action, no engraving. The rifle appears to be a system von Schatzl. The von Schatzl has an internal hammer that strikes the firing pin in the block. Refer to page 112 vol. 2 of Tom Rowe's Alte Scheibenwaffen.
Thanks Mile

My Haenel-Aydt was getting lonely so I thought that I would get it a playmate.

I thought the dark side was BP????  I already did that a long time ago.

Yamoon, this is a straight martini type action as far as I can tell.  Does your von Schatzl have any makers mark that looks like anything that I posted?
