Quote: Quote:Rumor has it ELCO is getting one free mould for every ten group buy sold anyone know if there is any truth to that? Sounds like a pretty nice Gig if its really so.
Frank , I find John's post is not baiting to you. Just a simple question and John is not the first or only one to ask a simple question on the forum. You seem to have the best knowledge of NOE's operations
John Boy,
You don't think this is baiting me?
Quote:or is ELCO just trying to get undue recognition from Tom's bullet design software when NOE also has the same.
NOE rules for group buys are the same for everyone, I have NO special relationship with NOE. I've sold a lot of molds for NOE but, I do it for our sport, to help people and try to insure that if you start into this sport, that you can find a resonable priced mold. The ONE bullet that I designed for my 30 cal rifle, I could not even get 10 people to go with it. So, I'm left with old Ron Long molds to shoot. (yea, I know, poor me)
I might add, that it not the easiest thing to sell a group buy. This one has taken a great deal of time and I do not, even have a 38 cal rifle. I did it for our Aussie friends.
The molds that I design are to my own taste and research, in what works, mostly in the design criteria of what Ron Long and Paul Jones used for their molds. I have design flat nosed bullet molds, when requested by people that have come to me. I do ALL my design work, free of charge! I've designed multiple bullets for at least one person on this forum w/o charging anything.
Rumor's are rumor's SO, I would suggest that any interested party, call Al at NOE and end any speculation that's out there.
