I have some magnum small rifle primers that I would like to use in 25-20 Win. Should I reduce my powder charge? Thank you, Paul.

Let your reloading manual be your guide to primer selection.

May need to with smokeless.

Should not be a concern with black powder; but you may need to have a newspaper wad between the primer hole and the powder.
