Judging by the text and not just the page numbers, it appears that page 8 is missing.

Thanks for posting the article.  That's the Farrow-actioned breech-muzzleloader that I've been so very curious about.  I think it is still around.  Apparently Gerald Kelver acquired it in the early 1970s.  Does anyone know where it is?

Farrow lived in Brattleboro, VT 1886-1887.  He shot at the National Rifle Club, most frequently with Cobb, but also with Brockway.  Farrow did not do well as a benchrest shooter.  The results of those NRC matches were published in The Rifle and are found in the reprints.

Of late, I have thought that perhaps Mr. Brockway put one of his barrels on a Farrow action to demonstrate "the proper way to do it".

Well in reading the post's here most of the talk is about heavy Slug Guns. A maker some very fine Schuetzen Percussion Rifles was George Schalk of Pottsville Pa. His time was Nov 22 1825 thru to 1893. He was very well known at that time for his quality match rifles. I know of at least two. He did however make at least a few Breach loaders at the end of his career. One is on Auction this week end at Amoskeag Auction @ Manchester NH. It is item 240 a fine example of his work.
