Picked up a very nice clean Stevens 219 in 30-30 Win. a few days ago. Had an H&R a few years back that was a disappointment . I hope this one shoots better. Anyone have one?

Is it actually marked Stevens?  Thought this was strictly a Savage model.

I have two. A 22 Hornet, rechambered to a 22 Lovel 2R and a 30/30. I bought them both in the 80's. In two try's I couldn't get good groups with the 22, using 45 jacketed bullets but, the 30/30 shot pretty good with 14.0 gr 4227, F150, BSed but, should also shoot almost as well with the same load fixed, if jamed, pretty good.

Got an "A" model in .30-30, near mint.  Came with a 12 ga. shotgun barrel, too.   I've never fired either one.  A case of "didn't find anything else interesting at the gun show".
