neck sizing dies

I'm considering experimenting with some neck tension on my 40/60 Maynard loads.  Presently the bullet is an easy slip fit in the case, if the case is turned upside down the bullet slips right out. As the ammunition is only for target shooting this is not an issue.
However I'm starting to wonder that if I apply a little neck tension maybe that will improve accuracy.
My question is this, what would be the best option for applying neck tension, either some sort of taper crimp die or a collet type with a selection of different size collets.
I did have a Meacham collet die and a selection of collets when I was experimenting with my 38/56 and the 45/90,however these were sold with the rifle. Any advice would be appreciated.
Mike.

I use a full length size die screwed out several turns. Tried neck bushing dies but run-out was more than I wanted. However seating bullet into the lands made run-out a none problem.

Lyman 40-65 taper die. You can just kiss the brass to keep bullet in but it spins freely. Then you'll find playing with jumping the bullet, touching lands, or jamming  into lands for your accuracy also. Alot of variables to try to find that magic load!

I do a minimum size (neck or partial FLS) and expand with a two diameter expander longest part gives .001 or .002 tension and 1/10 of an inch at the mouth gives .001 or .002 clearance to slip the bullet in.  A slight taper and sharp shoulder allow me to run the expander in all the way and it stops bellling the mouth a VERY little bit.

As my last step prior to putting the loaded round into the ammo box I run it thru a CH4D neck bushing die. With Starline cases the 0.430" bush is perfect. For R-P & Win cases, the 0.431" bush works. Do the same with the 38-50 ammo. Adds just a bit of tension and also makes the case round while squaring up the bullet axis with the bore axis.
