Dakota model 10

Has anybody ever seen any information as to how to break one of these down ? Being pinless, it obviously requires everything to drop out the bottom, however  the particular sequence is rather elusive. Thoughts?

Tim: If you are still looking for the breakdown of a Dakota model 10, I disassembled one of mine today. There is a schematic in march 1994 Rifle I could send you. Basicly it is strait forward. Remove the trigger guard, remove trigger. Weasel out the  hammer spring, remove the screw at the back off the lower tang & proceed to drop back of the tang. roll the  tang & forward. Everything, block, extractor rolls out & forward. Simpler than fooling with a hiwall extractor. J.W.

By golly....there's a special place in heaven for you.
If I PM you an email, is it something you could send? And thanks.

Tim: I can send you the page of the 94 Rifle article that shows 3 views of model 10. It doesn't give instructions on the breakdown but when you study the layout of the internals it becomes evident. My email is jwski@wizunwired.net  Good luck J.W.

Thanks again. Seems the key to the whole deal is finding the rear of the mainspring fixture comes out of the slot  taking  pressure off of the entire mechinism.
