German Schuetzen rifles are my hobby, use to pick up a nice one for $600, now even ones in poor condition brings $800 to 1000 on the online auctions.

It appears some one took sportco, which was made on a cadet action, with a new forend and barrel, and put a cadet forend, and a damaged one at that, back on it. 

I've got some sportco 22's and old cadet forends. May have to do some changing out.

Spotco made many versions of converted Cadet rifles from very basic to some rather nice.
The one in this auction was one of the basic using the original stock. In this case the for-end is a replacement not by Sportco. The wood has also been heavily varnished.
