I would steer clear of it since the lever lack the "stud" that positions the block at the correct height for loading. Makes loading a three-handed operation. Also looks like it may have been toyed with since the front sight is installed backward. Could have been done by Ped, Remington had a guy in their custom shop building rollers a couple of years back doing the same thing. Regardless, it is a Ped Sharps. For the starting price you can get a good used C. Sharps or a Shiloh and have a good quality gun.

First, blind I may be but I don't see anything wrong with the front sight.  Second, is the block defect noted by SchwartzStock common to all Pedersoli Model 1874s or just their Gemmer interpretations?
