Here's a martini with quite a few customization.

While I won't suggest that the following is relevant to the stampings, the barrel finish appears to be flaking.  Perhaps it's painted "stainless" or blued "high nickel content" steel?

Gregoire used to make barrels for the .22 position rifle crowd.  I would suggest that the barrel was installed by Al Freeland's Scope Stands, which imported BSA .22 rifles, as well as other shooting supplies and manufactured the Freeland scope stand.

All of my single shots shoot one tiny ragged hole with cast bullets ... it's just the following shots that tend to open up my groups Wink ...

Here in central Texas there was a gunsmith by the name of George Klaus who built lots of rifles for local Schueten Verein's after WWII.  He used a lot of Gregoire barrels.  The barrels are pretty easy to spot looking down the bore, cut rifled and left hand twist like a Pope.
