Stock question: fitting 8x56rd stock on eqyptian

Stock question: fitting 8x56rd stock on an Egyptian.  I have an Egyptian rolling block #1 and I found a stock from  Swedish 8 x 56 with two bands. It has a cross bolt (brass screw) near the receiver. The Egyptian has a steel block screwed to barrel under the lower band. 
Should I get this stock? Or should I purchase a new Stocks that that's made for it in the sporting model?

You could probably make it work. But as an old engineer I once worked with would say, "It's fine as far as form, fit, and function goes, but it looks like s hit."
