LOL yep mystery solved. Honestly I would like to know how that mold was marked, it almost looks like he used a small nail set to mark the mold but I just don't know.  Now that you know what they are and where they came from you need to pray for some warmer weather and send some of them down range one of these months.

Chris: You have two options if you want this bullet, order from Hoch or wait till I get the diagram that Accurate or  can cut a bottom pour mold from

Thanks, John Boy.  No way I could afford a Hoch mold and not really interested in a bottom pour mold.  That's the first thing I noticed and liked about the mold..........that perfect bottom.  (of course, I've always been attracted to "perfect bottoms")  Grin

Sam, March is usually the 1st good month to make a run to Ridgway.  Will bring the bullets & the throated Uberti to shoot them breech seated.  Also, have to make a stop at Geiser's to buy a bullet trap.  Have been testing reloads indoors with the new MagnetoSport chronograph instead of going to the range in the cold and setting up the Chrony!

Gentlemen ... Sam solved the mystery on this 38-300 Hoch mold:
ON the top spure plate, bottom plate and on the side of each mold block it is stamped : C2930. Also on the top sprue plate it is stamped : 2 11 94.
Then on the one block on the side is it stamped with Hoch molds and the numbers 376   300.

Chris - get your checkbook out, you always wanted a Hoch mold ... per Hoch:
Hi John

If you can give me the serial number from the left had side of the bullet mould, and provide a sample bullet, I can make a new mould for this bullet.

In fact, if you are willing to send a couple of sample bullets, along with the diameters you would like, I can make a mould based on your samples.

Price for the new mould is $165.00 Handles are $39.00 and Shipping is $17.00.

Check book is full of moths, John Boy.  Certainly don't have the kind of money it takes to buy a Hoch mold.  It's always nice to have a carrot to dream about.  My bullet is doing well right now.  No real complaints.
