"Jos. Limbrunner 1930" signed barrel channel

I pulled the forend of my Aydt rifle. The man I bought it from swears it is a pre-1900 rifle but "Jos. Limbrunner 1930" was written in the barrel channel. My internet search came up empty. Has anyone heard of this person?
If it wasn't the stock maker then my next guess is it's the name of the second or third owner.

If it's pre-1900 there won't be a date code in the proof marks.  If there is I believe that makes it post 1919, or '21 or '23...I NEVER can keep that straight.  Legible pictures of the proof marks would be a big help.  Even then that will only give date of proof, not necessarily date of manufacture of the components.  Lots of that stuff sat on the shelf for years after it was made before being put into a rifle.  Ol' Jos. could also have been a previous owner who acquired it in 1930.  I'm not about to say it never happened but I never heard of a maker writing his name in a barrel channel.
