Thanks for the complements. Yes it could use checkering, Maybe someday. I have yet to find it's true potential. It has a 10 twist Douglas barrel #3 tapered Win. The bullets I have been using are a Barnett 189 grain 20/1. It's pointed and tapered from .3095"-.306". My other bullet is a Paul Jones 190 grain 20/1. Pointed and cylindrical .310" with a very long base band. For Powder I have mainly used AA 4100 and Federal  GM205M primers. I have had my share of problems with this caliber and have been thinking of changing it over to a .32-40 or re-chamber to .30-30.

Some options for caliber are:

1. 32/30 Remington ( Dale R may have a reamer)

2. 32/35 Stevens ( .400 case head, 1 7/8 long, .500 rim, made from 30/30)

3. I wouldn't really recommend the std 30/30, for dead that a factory round might make it's way into it.

For the cylindrical PJ, I would recommend some .309 freebore of .100 - .130.
