Darr powder measure

Barry, A friend was cleaning out the garage of the late Jim Daly in Ventura and came across a load of Darr items.
One was a powder measure marked B W Darr  14. I wonder if a part is missing as there seems to be no way to adjust volume thrown?

Let us in on the secret.  What's missing?

Color me curious.

Smoke, Barry says that there are small hollow cylinder inserts for the lower section that regulate powder volume.
Not hard to make if the originals cannot be found in the chaos of the garage.
I guess the secret is never throw anything away. The next guy will have to rent the roll off.

It looks to me like it works like a B&M.

It would then be a B&M and not a Darr, the B&M is not regulated buy bushings to achieve the exact desired dropped charges it is done by adjusting the depth of the drop tube and not at all similar in operation and or possible accuracy. Simply put it was an Apple and Oranges comparison that would only tend to confuse it further for those here who might not know the differance.
