Where is your 25-25 or 25-21 Stevens brass coming from?

$103 for a 3 die set isn't cheap, but you might not be able to do much better. I paid $75 for my Ideal tool for 25-25 a couple years ago (missing the de-capper like most), and haven't seen another for sale since. Maybe you will be able to find a set of used dies though.

I think you are looking at an unnecessary expense.  These are old-timey single shots.  If the cases will enter the chambers of your rifles, all you need is a decapper and something to prime with.  An Ideal or Lyman universal decapper die works for my 28-30 and for my 25-20 SS.  It should work on the other 25s.  I have an old Ideal tong tool in .25-20 WCF that I use to prime my 25-20 SS cases.  I use another Ideal tool marked 28 S to prime the 28-30.

One bell, one whistle does it.

25-21 handloader here:
* Dies are CH4D
* Brass is Rocky Mountain Ctg lathe turned. Don't waste your money on Bertram (is Junk) & Jamison can be iffy

Certainly agree about Bertram - not about Jamison/Captech.  Their .25-20 Stevens brass has been excellent for forming to .22 Lovell.   But anyway, last I saw they still aren't making brass for the .25-21.  Wish they would.  I asked, but they said no, no market.

Ballards may be weaker,
but they sure are neater!

Look around at other die set pricing, and C&H4D looks pretty darn cheap! There's not a lot to choose from, but C&H4D has always been 1/3 to 1/2 the price of other brands for obsolete dies.

You might want to check to see if your .25 basic brass has the right base dia. and enough length to make .25-21 or .25-25 before you aquire any loading equipment. If those two cartridges can be made correctly rom this basic brass I would like very much to know where you are getting your basic brass.
