Just ran across this annealer.  I'm always a year or two behind on new gadgets.

From what I read the cartridge feeder is an accessary. That would be a good question to ask the maker of the annealer.  It's pretty expensive.

Giraud the maker could answer your question regarding rims causing a feed problem. There is a maker in New Zealand, I believe, called AMP, annealing made perfect. The reviews have been good, and rims should not be a problem. Both are induction based and prices similar, about a thousand dollars.

Whoa. That's a pile of money.  I just happen to run across the link I posted.  Thought it was pretty neat.  Have to do a lot of annealing to justify that kind of price.   Shocked

It'd be cheaper to just buy new brass than anneal with that.

I have an Annie but not the Giraud automatic system.  With a foot switch and a wooden case holder jig it is very fast and uniform.  Like anything else, there is a learning curve that depends on your technical savvy.

Speaking ‘bout annealer, I first tried the stand-the-case-in-water-and- apply-a-propane torch method, which did not work well.

Next, I tried a case holding collet from a Lee case trimmer, but it took too much time putting on and removing a case.

Now I use a ring burner from the Woodchuck Den. Place a torch holding the burner in a vise, hold the cases in the burner with old kitchen tongs, and when annealed, drop  in a bucket of water.

Bought it several years ago for about US$45 - 50.00.

It would be nice if the woodchuck den had photos of some of their products, like the annealers they advertise.

I spoke with the folks at Giraud about using their annealer on rimmed cases and was told that as they supply it, it won't work.  Apparently, that also applies to belted cases and any case with a tapered body as well as they do not sit well in the hopper.  I use a Benchsource annealer I got from Buffalo Arms.
Given the price of the induction units, I can continue to use my propane torch annealer for approximately 95X my remaining life expectancy before breaking even, even if electricity was free.  Of course, not having one means I'll never be one of the cool kids.
