Please don't just taunt us like this, give us a little more info, is it one of your builds? how does it shoot? Details to some degree 
Especially with a Hepburn.

I think it's more the rebounding hammer that gives issues with high pressure cartridges. Both can also give inconsistent strikes also if the mainspring gets weak, and wont overcome the rebounding hammer and firing pin spring. Had one of my Hepburns start having poor strikes, and when I tore into it to fix it, the mainspring screw had backed out a turn! Tightened it down snug and the problem was fixed. They're pretty touchy if worked over a little to lighten the hammer strike.

What kind of scope is that?

This Heppie looks very much like one I bought/sold several years ago. It was a single trigger gun 219 Zipper. It was sent  to Dave Crossno for  re-rebuild and is now a gorgeous 38-50.
Curious thing is that it was first year of production serial # and the tang was never drilled/tapped for a sight.

Not unusual for early Remington rifles to not be D&T for a tang sight. Not sure when they decided to D&T almost all of the Rem. rifles, but it seems to be some time around the early to mid 1880's.

I always get mixed feelings about these old varmintized single shot rifles. If they are well done it seems a shame to tear them apart to restore to original. Even though I much prefer the look of an original, these varmint rifles are also a part of single shot history, and seems they should survive at this point as an example of  that period in single shot history. I'd probably have to leave one as I found it, if it was this well done, and choose another to restore.
