Re. Primer Pocket swaging
Optionally, some of us use wads inside the primer pocket
resulting in shortening the depth when using LPs
One just "cookie cuts" a piece of say heavy construction paper
or paper from used targets set into the priming tool shellholder.
This has some following in BPCR shooting that is supposed to
do a better job of igniting the BP.

Cabela's had a  sale on Federal primers in Jul, I ordered 6,000 Federal Match Small Pistol and 4,000 Federal Small Rifle. I got the Small Rifle within a few weeks and the small pistol were back-ordered with a note the order would be cancelled if not contacted within a week.

I was in the hospital with emergency back surgery in August  and almost missed the email. I called, explained the surgery and my situation and stated this order was for Alice and I to use in competition for the coming year. I explained we shoot ASSRA and CBA competition and need the primers. They have kept the order in and I am scheduled to receive them by the end of October.

In the discussion, the man said the election announcements about gun and ammo sales was creating another panic and the factories were loading almost  every primer to meet the demand and only shipping a few to the dealers.
