They are available from many suppliers.  Google stainless steel pins or stainless steel media.  A couple of suppliers that come to mind are:

MidwayUSA ( (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links);

and STM ( (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links))

Concerning the mix, I'd start with 25% pins to 75% ceramic.

Or you can go with 100% pins with the understanding that using SS pins will result in case lip peening faster than ceramic.
