OH BOY what a great display!! Most of my Ballards are still
projects, Your Pics give me ,the added kick I wanted. They won't be as representive as yours, you have been into Ballard's far longer than I,but I will present what I have. Thank You Dick Stack 57thahc Cool

That is a wonderful display.
Original Ballard's have to have the nicest cheek-piece ever put on a rifle. 
It adds to the style, rather than distract.

Thanks everyone! This is one of the funnest, and finest display shows in the country! My collection is certainly not the best in the show, as others have some wonderful gun displays in this small 205 table show! Probably 35 displays around the perimeter, plus quite a few intermingled within the show! Just an honor to be amongst such dedicated gun collectors who generously share their interest with the public!
 
I hopefully will entice my son in law into the single shot rifle collecting/shooting game soon! I found an original Remington military 1867 Rolling Block in decent brown finish! On a hunch I purchased it cheap, and since he expressed interest on our last visit, I hope this will kick start him to do some small repairs, and begin a collection with it!

Thanks to all! 
And a special thanks to one of our fellow forum members! I got a PM from a member who recognized the Schoyen Ballard in the cased set! He knew the previous owner before he passed, and was very kind to pass along what he knew of the gun's owner, and the gun! Can't begin to say how much I appreciate him taking time to contact me, and also give me some history I can retain with the Schoyen! It's a perfect example of the quality people we have here on this forum!

Very nice Vall.  Wish I could have been there. I'm sure you will win a prize if you bring that display to Puyallup. I think February is the collector display show.
