A new .33 project

I’m working on a new reamer project for .33 cal. I have gotten to designing the throat and I am having a brain fart. I can’t remember if the 1 to 1 ½ degree throat is per side or total angle. Doing the math it looks like per side but I don’t know. Also I’d like to hear your opinions on which is better and why. The throat will be for a breech seated bullet of about 250 grains / 1.300 length.

Thanks

David Mos advised me to use 1 degree included (1/2 degree each side) for my 33-47. I bought a mould from him and figured he would know what worked best. Bullets seat easy and the rifle shoots great.

I do think that 1 degree included goes against conventional thinking but it's working for me, and Terry Harper. He used my reamer and throating reamer for his 33-47 and he does very well with his rifle.
