I sold all my .244 (.243 Winchester) Remington varmint rifles and reloading equipment years ago.  Do they even make .243 hollow points anymore? I checked gunbroker and found nothing.  The reason I am asking is I found a full box of Hornady 6MM 75 Gr .243 Hollow Points and would like to find a home.  Also some misc. loose 6MM. and can of Unique.

Don,
Yes, they still do make them. My all time favorite is the Sierra, 85 gr HP BT. 6mm Rem was my first accurate rifle (1968). I had a 26" heavy Varmit barrel, put on a Rem 600 Carbine. I still have the 9/16" 200 yard 3 shot group, that I fired with that rifle, using a 4 X 12 Bushnel, Banner scope.

That rifle is long gone but, I now have two Rem 660's, a stock 6MM, 20" bbl and a 24", 243 Win bbl, that I installed off a 700 Rem. And then, 4 years ago, for my Bday, I bought a 40X with a Krieger, 27" bbl, in 6mm Imp. with a 8 twist.

The only problem, is that I never shoot jacketed bullets. I keep thinking that if I get to wore out, lugging all this SS equip. I'll go back to loading at home and just taking the rifle and rest to the range.

If I can still remember that I like shooting when that time comes Sad
