50-70 Starline brass cracking

I have some 50-70 Starline brass that is cracking in the area where the base of the bullet stops when seated to full depth. They are 450 grain bullets. I have only reloaded them three times. They were from a lot of 50 I purchased new a couple years ago. Should I anneal them? Not hot loads just 2f black with a fiber over powder.

In pistol cases that usually is from over expanding and then squeezing it all back straight- made even worse with a heavy crimp. Don't know if you are doing some or all of this, but ease up a little if you are. Oversized slugs may do it as well- but I think to do that much damage you'd have such cruddy accuracy from distorted bullets that you'd have mentioned that as well. Hope ya get it all worked out.
