At our weekend Schuetzen Match at the Modesto Rifle Club the participants had the experience of seeing a feat that’s only been accomplished one prior time, to the best of my knowledge.  During the Iron Sight relay that took place in swirling wind conditions with a fair measure of mirage thrown in, Jerry Hartwig shot a perfect score of 250 with his .25 WCF.  I personally watched the last four shots hit home and note that not one bullet cut the outside red surrounding the white score ring.  Jerry uses a Mos bullet traveling in the mid 1600 FPS range.  Congratulations to Jerry.

Amen Terry it was a real Hoot and a Dog Fight in the AS Match for second and third in some of the strangest conditions I have seen this year. There was something going on out there that one could just not read?
For Jerry to be able shoot his Iron Sight 250 in such conditions makes it all that more special in my book.

It was a challenging match to say the least. Jerry can see thing that are going on with the conditions that no one else can seem to see. Congratulation Reverend Hartwig!
