.410 inch Ball Mark I ...

Has anyone out there done any reloading for the British .410 inch Ball Mark I Musket cartridge?  (Hey, I know that it's a bolt action Lee Enfield, but it IS still a single shot rifle when converted to this cartridge!)

I picked up one of these rifles a few years ago (another cherished member of my rather varied and eclectic gun collection) and it's another project on my retirement "to do" list.

I can use the data from the above link to rough out something similar (IMR3031 and IMR4064 are both close to cordite in burning rate), but just wondering if anyone else has played with the cartridge already and might have some reloading tips?

Can't hurt to ask, right?

Ideal had a bit of data in the early handbooks for loading round balls in .410 shotgun shells.
And a bit more info for round ball loads in both rifle and handgun cartridges.

PS:  The old books written by George C. Nonte Jr. also had tips on creating round ball loads, and other specialty cartridges, and cartridge conversions.
