Well, now I know. Mine has been clipped at the rear for a rubber buttplate.  I know this because I did it myself. There was no plate present when I got the stock. Surprised at how well the finish had endured. Nice wood.

Welcome and my compliments on your shooting collection.  Didn't see any rollers. Save room for at least one.
