7mm RM reduced load data please

I want to seriously down load my 7mm RM Hauck to get my Grandkids used to a little recoil.  My research shows that 26ish grains of 4759 would give a 140 gr bullet around 2100fps, which would be ideal. However, 4759 is discontinued.  Could I safely use slightly less 4227 ?  Your advice, please.

I think the reason that your getting no responce, is that no one on this forum, has any knowlege, regarding loading the 7mm RM with cast bullets but, yes, in most cases, 4227 can be used to replace 4759, gr for gr. not by volume.

In a strong gun, I would do that, while using a chronograph and you'll get what you need.
