Forgot I have a 44 with a flat spring with a hole.

Yes, all of the Stevens DST actions are that way, going back to the beginning.   So far as I have found, none of the plain trigger 44 models have a cantilever spring, however.

That's an easy one Joe.  The Bordman Ultra-deluxe, Center Maker that won matches for all who used it.

I apologize for the pics being so big.  This phone has an awesome camera and mp3 player and those are important features to me.  But I digress.
Sorry I have not been here for several days. Busy with several projects including a heart monitor.  But let's not go there.
You guys have no idea how much I appreciate your expertise and guidance. I'm actually looking forward to bringing this thing back to life.  And with your advice and help I am confident "we" can do just that.
Someone sent me a link to ebay and some hammers.  If you were me which one would you recommend for me?? Please just include the item number and I will bid on it with the intention of getting it as long as it doesn't break the bank.   While we are at it take a look at the other parts and if there is something else I need and it's on ebay I will bid and get it as well.
Thanks so much gentlemen.   Smiley

There's an interesting lot.  Got a hammer and a trigger for you, along with lever and breechblock pivots and a .22 caliber ejector, plus there's what looks like three Ballard hammers that you can resell.  That long shaft with the little block on the end MAY be the hammer cocking strut from a Stevens Model 12 Marksman.

This hammer and screw look good from here.

Ballards may be weaker,
but they sure are neater!

Sent you an email JerryB. If you win the Ebay bid, I'm interested in the Ballard parts. 3 hammers and 2 links.

I'm bidding on the hammer shown in the above link  and a trigger. Hopefully I'll get at least the hammer.
But....The trigger pin does not look like mine. Mine is a screw with a smaller screw tightened into the end opposite the pins' head.  Is that a wrong trigger??
