I know from time to time people are looking for 25 20 WCF. Almost impossible to find. There is a guy on gunbroker that is listing box of 50 for $63 If I recall correctly. He says that he has 460 boxes. They must have started manufacturing it again and most likely will do so for a short time. If you want it get it now. I don't think it will get cheaper.

Found an ad for 25-20 on Gunbroker. It lists them as 86 gr with a MV of 3320 fps. Claims to have 479 of them, I think they might be a little hot for my Ballard.

The 3320 fps is a typo for sure.Would be impossible to get that in the small case Probably about 2300 (would still be pretty zipppy)
What manufacturer ? 86 gr jacketed ?
If Win like their old loads Id say it would be worth it for the good accurate loads and better than rem brass ready to load without necking down ( a bit of a treat luxury once in a while) better to find old stock cheaper at gun shows if available ? used to be at Canadian gun shows

I think that it was Remington who made the run of 25-20 ammo. Sorry, at $63/50 I'll form my cases from Starline 32-20 and load my own. I think that it is Remington's way of saying they don't like making the unusual old stuff!
Thank heavens for Starline when the big ammo companies are turning their backs on reloaders.

Thanks to Hornady for making what Starline and others don't care to make, they don't seem to get enough credit for the odd brass they have to offer to the shooting community.

Ditto on the Starline kudos. Just about All of my shooters are old or wildcat. If it weren't for starline I would not be able to shoot some of my rifles.

Yes, John, I agree: Thanks to Hornady for making brass and ammo for some hard-to-find cartridges. I have a couple hundred plus of the 405 Win Hornady brass, and am quite pleased with it.

Winchester & Remington have both made new runs of the 25-20 ammo, with Remingtons being a little less expensive. Selway Armory online sells it as well as some other hard to get ammo, and is cheaper per box than most. You can buy multiple boxes & still pay $17.99 for shipping, easy checkout & pay with quick shipping.

Hornady just announced that they will be making .218 bee, 25-20 WCF, 32-20 WCF and 25-35 WCF. I even have a large fold-out chart from them with those new calibers listed. I just sold all of my 25-20 so my timing was good.
