357 magnum cadet.

I am getting a 357 mag built on a cadet action, and before all the martini nuts call for my head on a pike, this a Sportco 22lr conversion that i have worn out the barrel in and not an original 310.

What I am wanting to know is if I short seat 180gn 358 rifle bullets (approx 1/4 in) is there any issues with getting round the corner and is 357mag accuracy adversly affected by short seating?

This is a new calibre for me and all my other cadets are original 310, 17 and 22 rimfire or 22 hornet and 222rem plus their variations (k hornet and myra's)

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated

Cheers

I have been shooting my Cadet that was   rebored/rechambered in the late 1950s to 357mag by or for Klein's Sporting goods /Chicago. About 13 twist.
The Lyman 200 grain 358315 bullet, seated out to line up with the crimp groove "goes down the trough nicely and it shoots very well with about 12-13 gr IMR4227
