We had a total of 17 competitors and I apologize for not posting everyones scores, a daunting task on my phone. Conditions were challenging Rain on Friday and Saturday and Mirage cloudy skies on Sunday. Our furthest traveler this year was Don Thalhem all the way from Nebraska and a true gentleman! Fun was had by all and the competition extremely stiff and thanks to all for coming and I hope to see you all next May.

Yours Sincerely
JLouis

I wish this group could see the hand painted King Target you won Terry that Jerry Cleaves Grand Daughter hand painted, she is an extremely gifted young Lady and you have a lifelong treasure to proudly display.

Nice Shooting!

For the last five years The Central Sierra Schuetzen Club has presented a beer stein to the winner of the Quarter Bore match at the Modesto ISSA Regional. This is the beer stein presented this year.

Rich Davis (PORK and BEANS) has his middle daughter do the fancy writing on the stein.

What Terry (shovel80) forgot to mention was that this was his first time ever shooting an offhand Schuetzen match. In fact, I doubt that he had fired 50 shots offhand with his CPA before this match.

Third in Iron Offhand, and the King Target, is not a bad way to start.

Nice shooting Jerry, Jerry and Terry. I'm thinking of adding (erry) at the end of my first name and see if that improves my score. It was a fun match.

Congrats Jerry, Jerry and Terry, very  nice shooting in the reported tough conditions.

That is a good idea.  I'm not just adding "erry", I'm dropping the "ob" first  Cheesy

To add a little truth full humor John, Jerry and Terry all have quite long Pony Tails and the so called Pony Tail Bunch took 1st.,2nd and 3rd. in the Iron Sight Bench match along with some other honors.
Might be something to it so you might want to try growing one and I have found my best results were achieved at 12 inches and beyond. It also makes for a nice counter balance for offhand shooting as you can see by Jerry and Terry's results and its legal in the Traditional Class to boot.

No John. It doesn't work that way. As you might remember I wore my Granddaughters "FROZEN" hat to a match, it had a pony tail on it, and the only I got is another wind flag. No improvement in score. I sticking to to the "erry" theory.

Richeery it has to be real Hair or it simply won't work nor would it qualify for the Traditional Class.

There are indeed two Americas. Simply put, it is not the haves and have nots. The two Americans are in reality divided into those who do and those who don't.
