Silhouette MOA'S Come Ups 200 to 500 Meters

What are the nominal MOA come ups from 200 to 500 meter silhouettes?
Sharps 45-70
535gr - Bullet weight
0.402 - BC
0.364 - SD
1062 - fps
34" - barrel length
39" - ocular to muzzle
0.75 - sight height
Hornaday Trajectory calculates:
200-300m = 1.4 MOA
200-400m = 3.0 MOA
200-500m = 4.9 MOA
The 200m nominal base line setting on the rifle is 14 MOA's

John, I think something is wonky with the data fed into that software.

The comeups for my .45-70 weren't too far off what JBM Ballistics predicted.  I think you can count on something like 50-60 points from 200 to 500.

Here are the numbers from my .45-70 when I used it fo silhouette:

Silhouette rifle - Shiloh Sharps Long Range Express, .45-70, 34" std weight barrel.

Load - Starline brass, CCI BR2 primer, 69gr Goex FFg Express, 0.030" veg king + 0.060" LDPE wads, BACO Money bullet .459", 20:1, pan lubed SPG, zero neck tension

Measured velocity 1150fps

Sight settings

Chickens - 0.39".
Pigs - 0.59".
Turkeys - 0.74".
Rams - 0.97".

If you have your 200 Meter Zero, come up 15 mins. for 300, 15 more for 385, and 20 Mins. for 500.
That should get you close enough for your spotter to see where your at.

MVA Sights

Chickens = 47
Pigs = 66
Turkeys = 80
Rams = 101
This is just where I start.  Everyone knows different ranges/conditions will vary these numbers somewhat.

Gents -Thanks for the come ups.  Of course minor adjustment for elevation & windage ... but believe I'm close to final settings

My paper target base line setting for 200yds is 14 minutes - so I'll fine tune that and use the come ups
