Remington sporting rifles and recoil

As anyone who shoots these in heavy caliber knows the hellish buttplate can deal you considerable misery even if your posture is correct.  Standard pads just dont fit and the Shooters Friendis overly large.  Im considering a strap on Super Mag shoulder pad and ran across this.  Have any of you experience with the Evoshield? No, but Buffalo Arms has recoil pads that work very well based on one Martin Rand developed 25 years ago.  (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

Looks to be a Left Hand Model. Worth asking before ordering. I could not find a way to a Right Hand demonstration. Regards, FITZ.

Where I shoot BPCR Silhouette...I think the majority of the shooters use the shooters friend pad. Works Very Well..I just use it for shooting prone...and take it off for Off hand!

I only weigh 154 lbs so I got a shoulder pad from BACO to use with my 45/90, certainly makes life a lot more pleasant when shooting off the bench.

None of the factory pads including the Shooters Friend fit the odd shaped Rem buttplate!
