Gorgeous Hepburn on Gunauction

Almost too nice to be true, but Jackthedog is as honest as they come.  The tang does look funny to me, though.  The screws look modern.  His auctions always top out and this one has 9 days to go....

I own #1607 and #4628.
Both do not have the thin parallel parting line in the checkering behind the lower tang. On mine and on my #1362, the space between the checkering is a widening "V" going towards the butt from the rear of the lower tang. #4628 is DST, the others are single trigger.
Interesting!

Sorry,old eyes.
The DST is 4628, OP modified.
Still, I didn't goof on the pattern.

Thank you for you kind consideration of this Hepburn!
Darn safes are just too small!
Now I don't have to worry about where to put it.
Do you have room for my DeSoto also?

Vall, I was not worried about blowing up this auction since Mark always gets heavy-hitter bidders.  I know my saddle would be out on the front porch if I got it....
But I still wonder about the tang and screws; it looks as if a tang was cleaned or sight had been mounted and the screws look different from the others.

My 3 ranging from 1300 to 4600 or so match yours Vall.
They might have both existed at the same time?
Like I said, always interesting.
