Photos 1 & 2; the standing rifle on the right:  What is it?  Looks to be a higher model Stevens, 44 action.  I tried to enlarge it, but it gets blurry before you can see any details.

waterman,

Take a look at pic 7.

JägerWilhelm, thanks for sharing. At which GunShow could you take the pics?

Yes, its the most gorgeous collection about the 1906 Bundesschießen all over the world.

When I can find a rare item of the 1906 Bundesschiessen here in Germany, I provide the serious collector with it. So his display grows and grows.

But meanwhile its difficult to find something, because he has so much...

I remember seeing those pictures on the GGCA site.  Evidently I haven't gotten over them as I had to clean the drool from my keyboard again....

Biggi, the show is in Allentown, PA and is called the "Forks of the Delaware Historical Arms Society". It is held 5 times a year and has about 800 tables. There are always Schützen rifles there and a number single action folks as well.

I have these photos In a pretty large format, so I could crop some to see the details. The ones I posted are reduced size.

Wilhelm, thanks for the information.
An 800 table gun show is huge, probably real worth to visit.

The collector travels sometimes with his display, but it needs a lot of time to pack it into the van and install all the precious items.

He spent a lot of time to make all the small glass cabinets for the goblets and the frames for the pictures, maps and old photos and postcards.

Biggi, it is a good show but has been changing over the years. I have been going since my teen years in the 70's with my father. By far the best show in my area is the annual Baltimore Show.

Good thread here. And, Wilhelm, the one you are shooting in your avatar isn't too bad itself! Thanks.

My Stiegel Martini has the remains of the competition sticker from the 1906 Munich Schuetzenfest on the lower stock underneath the Tyrolean cheekpiece.  Although a "plain jane" compare to the fine examples shown in the exhibit it is a good shooter with bullets from the custom mould made for me by Frank Zika.  The information and pictures provided here add some more value to this rifle for me.  Thanks,   jim
