It's stated that this is a math question. You can not assume anything in a math equation! For instance, I could assume the butt of the rifle moved 12" and my answer would be as accurate as anyone else.
If it's not stated, it doesn't exist.
So, there is no answer to the question! Before there can be a answer, you have to know if any other part of the rifle has moved and if it has, at what point moved or the axis point, in relationship to the muzzle.

It will be interesting to see how you solve your hypothetical question without considering the radius of the movement. Either the .001" movement has no effect or it rotates about the radius of the stationary rear bag, which for practical purposes is close enough to the sight radius for this discussion. The arc of any movement is the Second of Angle that determines the bullet's destination as it relates to the original destination.
Being naturally lazy, I did not do the math to get the precise answer since this is all BS any way
But as has been pointed out, it is the rear bag location, not the sight radius (assumed to be a tang sight). Without precise measurements, it is pointless to do the math for no practical purpose. If you want a closer estimate, you could use my heel sight settings or just deduct 20% from the 200 yard bullet movement.

.200" at target, unless you are using common core math, then the answer doesn't matter just as long as you got the equation correct.
.001 x 200 =

The toe of the rifle in the rear sand bag would be considered the pivot point in this instance and only the muzzle moves off the intended holding point one thousandths of an inch. The total length from the toe of butt stock to muzzle is 43 inches. Movement is at the point of the muzzle.

Owners of vintage single-shot rifles covertly introduced bias into the formation of the question with the intent to humiliate those members not initiated into the secret beliefs and rites of the ASSRA sub-cult. Their intent was to give an unfair advantage to breech-loaders. My inability to ascertain the correct answer has damaged my self-esteem. Therefore, those of us who are not breech-loaders should get the same score as the others, and an award, just for participating.

JLOUIS - Please qualify "as the bullet leaves the barrel." What is the exact location of the bullet when the assessment is to be taken? Could be from any point from the leade to just past the muzzle.

I think Rebel is correct for 200 yds from line of sight muzzle to target for simple angular offset. Many other forces involved far from my comprehension. Nice question John - sure am glad to see you are back.
