Yeah I would buy that Stevens if I could get it back stateside. I bought a very nice sharps sporting rifle from these guys and they were very easy to deal with

That was an intentional juxtaposition meant to draw a parallel to your incorrect perception that I misidentified a Remington as a Stevens when the actual issue was that you had missed the side reference to the Stevens in the other link none of which matters much.

Just a note... the wire-frame stock for that Stevens don't look like factory to me.

The Rem #4 don't look bad, though.    Smiley

Yeah I agree that skeleton stock on the Remington does not look factory at all. Probably made by the same guy who made the sight on the Stevens.
