	A couple of nicely engraved rifles. These will be at the Reno show next weekend if you want to come see them in person. This is a Johann Springer. It's a cartridge gun. The breech block rotates 180 degrees in the receiver to open. Most interesting action.

	Special order Ballard #6 1/2 with double set triggers, rebarreled by A. O. Zischang.

	Zischang also "gunsmithed" the Ballard triggers. Not your average Ballard engraving.

	I see normal Ballard engraving. What could he have done to the triggers? They were perfect from the factory. Nice rifles for sure! The Werndl is really nice! Joe.

	This brings up a question, I have never owned a Ballard, but by all I have read it is a weak action, not nearly as strong as a 44 1/2 or HiWall, so what is the attraction? Mike

	6 1/2s came with single triggers? Is that the special order? The triggers? No, that would have been from Ballard. Okay, what is the special order feature? Joe.

	6 1/2 Ballard engraving differed slightly in design. Quality may have been better too. I want that Werndl.......BAD! Joe.

	I once owned a Zischang Ballard and those triggers were the finest I have ever handled, bar none.
