I see normal Ballard engraving.
If you compare the engraving, side by side, with a "normal" Ballard,
you can see that this is much cleaner, has more depth, and was done
by someone with a lot more artistic talent than one usually sees in
the factory work.

I don't know. Ballards have, IMHO, the best double-set triggers of
the period. These are, by comparison, better.
You really have to shoot the rifle to appreciate how fine the set is.
