	the size of the cartridges looks like .45-110. Her man probably said " you shoot it, I'll skin it" then he took off to the saloon and left her to do all the work. We could write a fun story with this.....

	That picture is of Augusta Wallihan. She and her husband A.G. Wallihan were early day Colorado big-game hunters and photographers. Some of their hunting stories and photographs were used by Shooting and Fishing magazine. JerryH

	Thanks JerryH, Kurt_701 and Flatlander!! Best I can recall, I saw that and other similar old photos at an exhibit in Colorado Museum of Natural History when I first moved to Denver. May be going nearby Craig, CO next month -- museum at Craig is on my list of possible stops. Grisen
