38-55 and 219 Zipper. I want to have CPA build me another barrel somewhere between the two with the same cartridge head (30-30)

(22 + 38) / 2 = 30-30

I would go with John L and build a 33-47 if I was looking to build something that few have I'd go with a 32-30 Remington.

If by chance your choice is indeed the 33-47 make sure CPA does not cut the chamber for a 33-40. They have both reamers. The 33-47 is the 32-40 case blown out to 33-47, the 33-40 uses a standard 32-40 case and the 33 bullet will not fit into the mouth of a 32-40 case. You would then have to use a plugged case or a push seater and you would not be able to use a typical mechanical seater such as the Weber where the bullet is inserted into the seating device. I had one of there barrels chambered in 33-40 and I had to make a push seater that worked off of the rear tang sight base and an adjustable plugged case to use it.
