It would probably be a good idea to move your brass into the guns safe even if you need to move the rifles out to make room  Grin

No kidding!

If the price of Brass is now rising faster than the price of Silver and Gold, it may be time to rethink the investment strategy.    Wink

Geez, not even a "true" bag of 50 pieces.  Didn't think one day my brass would be worth more than my rifle.

But people pay $5.00 for a cup of coffee.  I guess it is up to the buyer and seller what is a decent price.  Nobody else has a nose in it.

Pretty much, and in addition to the Gunbroker listings above, here's the one that opened my eyes

(You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

only 38 pieces and half of them used for $97 shipped  Shocked

I'll leave mine here for a little while longer, then it's off to greener ($$) fields of Gunbroker  Wink

I have a very heavy barreled rifle that I bought from a friends estate. It was made for him by Bo Clerck and it is in 40 Krag. He told me years before he passed that he chose that case because at the range 30-40 brass was laying all over the ground. I have been going to public shooting ranges in California since 1956 and I have never picked up a single piece of 30-40 brass. The barrel is beautiful but brass is hard to get, maybe impossible. I have some 303 that I have blown out but now I hear they are dropping that as well. Bugger

I am always stunned whit the brass I see thrown away at the range. I always go through the bucket for useful brass.

That 50pc lot on GB is at $150. I am going to put mine up there cause I don't want it that bad and for BSing 30-30s work fine. And as for the 20pc boxes I plan to put them up at $60. When all is said and done I can buy a CPA action with the proceeds. What is wrong with that?
