Ken, those of us who shoot .22 rimfires at distance will be very interested in your work.  As you know, .22 rimfire barrels are often fussy as to the brands they like or don't like.  The types you tried are of the "practice only" accuracy level, quite good enough for first time out and windy conditions and very sensible choices.

But when the wind slows down, they won't give your choked barrel a really good run.  Some of us would like to see trials of the sort we would take to a match.  Not the uber-spendy Tenex, but maybe Wolf Match Extra, the better Lapua stuff or maybe Eley Match in the black box.

Might try Champion's Choice and Champion Shooter's Supply. Thye usually have to top target ammo.

Hi Ken, Bruno's shooting supplies in Phoenix carries a lot of the better quality .22 RF stuff and they have free shipping for a couple more days if you buy at least 2 bricks.  Have had good luck with Wolf ME, Lapua Midas+ and Federal UM22.  Would really like to see a picture of that convertible firing pin system if you have a chance.  I enjoy seeing your test results - thanks.

Regards, Joe
