Harry they are pretty rare here in Canada too.  I have only seen one at a gun show.  I looked like something a diver recovered from a shipwreck.  The price was $4000 IIRC.

Thanks craigd,

Don't worry about me Craig, I'm not the giving up sort. I have far too much to do before I depart.

Gunlaker,
That's odd, I thought there would have been more of them around in your area. I have heard of a couple in Canada, but missed the one you mention.

Harry it's possible that there are more up here somewhere, but I only know of two locally.  One is mine and the other belong to a friend.  The only other I've seen up here was that rusted up, overpriced, relic at the gun show several years ago.

Hello Longdistance1
at 0821 GMT this morning 04/02/16 the Euro was worth 0.87758 of a US Dollar. You may be offered less if exchanging money as that's one way Banks make money.  Undecided

Hello jarman,
I worked it out at $3949.11. It would have to be in very good condition to get that price out of me, but if there was nothing mechanically wrong with it and it had a very good bore it may be worth it especially as they are so rare over here on our side of the pond.

jarmann,
Here's an Officer's Model in the US for sale.  It looks refinished to me.  Cheap!  Cheesy
