.22 LR converted to wcf barrel

OK, have a great looking barrel that started off life as .22 long rifle. Someone dropped a .22wcf reamer down it. Do you all think I can persue using it as a .22 hornet with the correct size bullets? Kinda concerned about neck thickness of brass, finding reloading dies, etc. Originally thought to bore chamber, thread, plug and rechamber....

Perhaps I could use 22wcf brass and a neck die for 22 hornet?

The .22 WCF is essentially the Hornet case with a .228 bullet.  Or rather the .22 Hornet is the .22 WCF case with a .223 bullet.   Get an accurate measurement of the neck diameter of your chamber.

Just checking a couple of Hornet rounds on my desk, the neck diameter is .242".   That's in modern brass.  The old time brass was typically thinner.  Only .002" wall thickness difference would bring your Hornet round up to the nominal diameter of an original WCF round.   If a Hornet round will chamber, I'd fire one and measure the expanded neck diameter.   It may just be that you don't need to do anything at all.

What rifle action?  Hornet pressure is a good bit higher than the old WCF.
