Flat nose bullet clarification

Print Post
I offer for your viewing pleasure, a spitzer bullet on the left and a flat nose bullet on the right. Note that the spitzer bullet on the left has a pointed tip while the flat point bullet on the right has a flat point. If further clarification is needed, do not PM me. Please.

  Thank you Joe!
That picture clarifies the issue like the sun coming up on a foggy morning! Smiley

Sort of reminds me of the Soviet cold war mobile rocket launchers.

Comrade, crank the rocket up, target Modesto...............

Good one Jack.  Grin

Frank, Could you whip up a drawing of Jack's bullet in .33 so I can get one ordered? Looks like a wringer to me Grin

I don't know, Bob. It looks like it would be kinda hard to seat and I really can't tell which end goes in the barrel.

The best thing about it, looks like once it gets going, it would be perfect for LR shooting Smiley

Frank, When you draw it,  just figure I'll back it in.  I'm pretty good at backing up a trailer, so that bullet should be easy Grin

Anybody ever use round balls in their schuetzen rifles?  They have flat noses.  Should work, eh?

Time to start a thread on the clarification of a bullet and a round ball?

Your turn, kcajeel.
