I bought this front sight today. There are no markings on it.

I think it's great design as a combination hunting/target sight and very easy to attach.

Any ideas on who made them?

I'm not familar with a Dockendorf sight. 

Can you fill me in? Date of manufactor or a link to info?

If you've got Stroebel's "Old Gunsights" book (1998 edition), take a look at the lower right on page 142.
